Octopus Cell Combo Platter

This is the Octopus Cell for a short animation that i've been working on from Oct 09-Jan 11. This is my first attempt at 2D animation to go through the entire process. I drew each frame on plain ol computer paper, scanned them in my computer cleaned them up colored them gave highlights and shadows in photoshop. then added an alpha channel (thats the grey you see its actually transparent and eventually a background will be there) Then I imported them into a timeline in flash at 24fps and here we are.

This is the work of over 1,200 drawings many redone countless times. If I had to give an average of how many drawing I did i'd say about 1,800.
